About Our Mobile Grooming Salons

We operate in totally self contained mobile grooming salons.

We have two mobile salons, the largest, pictured above, is a Wag'n Tails ELITE conversion bus on a Ford E450 chassis. The smaller is a Wag'n Tails PET PRO conversion on a Ford E350 chassis, both are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The 2010 ELITE conversion having the latest in cutting-edge technology and design described below.

Bathing Equipment

  • A stainless steel full size tub that will hold the largest breed with room to spare.

  • A stainless steel perforated shelf in the tub raises dogs off the bottom of the tub and out of the suds.
  • A Super Suds Bathing Unit, with its turbo charged pump, delivers a high volume water pressure offering a hyro-surge type message while washing and rinsing your pet.
  • A 100 gallon fresh water tank insures plenty of water to get the job done right.
  • A Hot and Cold Water Demand Water System regulates the water temperature to perfection.
  • A 3-Speed Overhead Vent above the tub eliminates humidity with a powerful vent fan.
  • and last but not least, is a dirty towel laundry chute in the back of the tub which allows for quick disposal of wet smelly towels.

Power

  • The Onan 7000 Commercial Generator provides 58.3 amps of consistent power; enough power to operate all appliances making our unit totally self-contained.
  • 110 Volt Electrical Service with GFI Protection in work area.

  • An LP, Water Tanks and Battery Monitoring Panel allows us to see the water, LP, and battery levels at the touch of a button, next to our tub.

Climate Control

  • 20,000 BTU LP Furnace with Thermostat. A powerful heating system for cold days.
  • 13,500 BTU Roof-mounted Carrier Air Conditioner a powerful, oversized air conditioning unit, sure to keep it comfortable on hot days.

Lighting

  • 15' of Fluorescent Lighting with custom Lexan covers provides lots of bright lighting for the most accomplished pet stylist.
  • Two Large Tinted Windows are located inthe work area and bring in lots of natural light, but are tinted enough to avoid glare on sunny days.
  • High-Gloss White Formica and Fiberglass Walls reflect light for optimum vision.

Flooring

  • The slip resistant flooring is designed for a commercial grade work area.
  • Chemical resistant and heat resistant.
  • A bacteriostat is incorporated in the flooring to give the exposed surface excellent odor control.

Grooming equipment

In addition to the many and varied tools of the trade, such as clippers, blades and attachments, scissors, blenders, combs and brushes, we have

  • the newest innovation in grooming tables. A 3 in 1 Electric Hydraulic Table that lowers to 18" and rises to 44". We can raise the largest dog with just a touch of the electric foot pedal.The table top rotates 360 degrees and still maintains stabile with large breeds. And a bridge from the table to the tub pulls out from under the table top allowing anysize dog to walk from the table into the tub.

  • A Clipper Vac system. This vacuum system attaches to our clippers and removes the cut hair, dirt and dander as we clip.
  • A Two-Motor High Velocity Dryer with a retractable hose.
  • Commercial Central Vacuum System for wet/dry clean up.

Comfort for the stylist

  • A Bathroom —Toilet, mirror and cabinet for toiletries. This enclosed bathroom allows for complete privacy.
  • Built in Microwave oven and refrigerator.
  • Second grooming station or desk area.
  • Storage, storage and more storage.
